The Case Studies in Orofacial Pain and Headache Series provide an interactive educational forum for dentists and dentists-in-training. The program currently includes 10 dental schools with a focus on the presentation of complex chronic pain cases, many of which require assessment and management around issues of substance use risk and need for interdisciplinary care. The programs are offered quarterly with half-day programs (4 hours), with each orofacial pain program hosting on a rotational basis.  Case based presentations are offered  by Postgraduate Residents from 3 participating training programs.  Invited guest “expert discussants” are asked to participate based on the topics of the presentations.
